According to TMZ, Harvey Weinstein's 22-year-old daughter, Remy, called in a suicide threat on Wednesday, October 11, prompting police to arrive at her home. Weinstein had already left his daughter's home by the time police arrived, but they were responding to a call about Weinstein being "depressed and suicidal." However, once police arrived, Remy told them that they were just having a family dispute and her father is not suicidal.
According to police, Weinstein and his daughter were having an argument, which made its way outside. The embattled producer then told his daughter, "You're making it worse" before flagging down a random car outside.
This comes after Weinstein has been accused by multiple actresses, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashley Judd, and Angelina Jolie, of making sexual advances. Weinstein has vowed that he's going to check himself into rehab after news broke of his misconduct.
