Dallas Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban has been one of the more vocal team owners in the NBA for quite some time. Recently, Cuban revealed during an interview that he is thinking about running for President of the United States. While on the Viewpoint podcast, Cuban was asked by former South Carolina state rep Bakari Sellers if he would consider running for president. Cuban responded by saying “Yes. Considering, yes. Ready to commit to it, no.”

Cuban did not stop with his thoughts there, as he continued on during an appearance on CNBC’s Fast Money. While on the show, he said “Based off what's happening in the White House, based on what's happening in the country and the world, we need better leadership. And I think I could do a better job. But there's a lot more to it than just thinking you can do a better job, and so I'm not ready to make the commitment." Previously, Cuban told ESPN “Do I think I can be effective? Yes, but I have no desire to be a politician. If I did something, if I ran for office, if I ran for president, it would be because I thought I could have an impact.”
