LaVar Ball has been pretty hands-on with the careers of his sons, as he is pushing them to become basketball stars while also showcasing his in-your-face antics. His moves may seem out of place, but they have gotten his son Lonzo Ball into the NBA already. Now, reports have surfaced saying that Ball is pulling his son LaMelo from Chino Hills High School to homeschool him. Previously, LaMelo’s brothers Lonzo and LiAngelo both graduated from Chino Hills, but LaVar has other plans for the youngest sibling.

According to reports, LaVar Ball is looking to homeschool his son for the next two years, which would be the remainder of his high school years. When asked about the reasoning behind the move, Ball said that he had concerns about the newest coach of his son’s team.

Ball said, “It’s a new coach and I don’t like him one bit. [LaMelo] is on track for UCLA, but he doesn’t have to be dealing with those knuckleheads. I’m not letting them mess with his head anymore. You can put that on the principal and the coach over there.”

He also went on to say, “I’m going to make him the best basketball player ever.”
