Update:

LAPD has released the mugshot of Corey McClendon.

----

Corey McClendon, a Memphis native and alleged associate of Yo Gotti, was arrested in the shooting of Young Dolph outside of the Loews Hollywood Hotel on Tuesday (September 26).

In 2010, McClendon was one of nine people arrested after Yo Gotti was in an argument with rapper OG Boo Dirty outside of Level II nightclub in Memphis. All charges were later dropped in the incident due to lack of witnesses. OG Boo Dirty spoke on the situation during an interview with VladTV, which you can check out here.

According to USA Today, McClendon was booked on attempted murder charges, although it's not yet known whether he was the person who shot Young Dolph following an argument outside of the hotel. Two other men were reportedly involved in the situation with the Memphis rapper, who was shot three times before the men fled in a gold Escalade that was later found abandoned.

Young Dolph was moved from critical to stable condition following a surgery on Tuesday, and he's expected to recover following the violent ordeal. This is the second time this year Dolph was involved in a shooting.

Back in May, Dolph's SUV was riddled with bullet holes, but he was left unharmed due to the vehicle being bulletproof. Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta was one of three people arrested in connection to the shootout.

Stay tuned for more details on the situation.
