One month after being in the news for surviving a health scare that had doctors giving him a 20% chance of survival, Ric Flair was back in the headlines on Tuesday, September 26, only this time around people aren't buzzing about him laying up in a hospital bed. Rather, it was a snippet shared during the 30 for 30 special that ESPN aired on the wrestling icon that has fans speculating about the validity to his claim that he's bedded 10,000 women in his life. While there are those who'd believe a guy with Flair's charm and looks in his heyday could land that many sexual partners, adult film industry legend Ron Jeremy of all people doesn't.
"I think he's lying. With all due respect, he's a nice guy. I think he's, you know?" Jeremy told TMZ one day after the public got a chance to wrap their minds around the claim. The way Jeremy sees it, with an individual needing to average intercourse with three different women per week between age 14 and 68, Flair would have basically had no time to do much else if what he claims, were true. "What's he gonna say, 'I've had three girls in my life?' You've gotta say that you know? I'm sure he's got a large number. All celebrities get a lot of women. A lot of women," Jeremy said.
