The Oklahoma City Thunder have a certifiable 'Big 3' now that Carmelo Anthony has been brought aboard to join Russell Westbrook and recent signee Paul George, and it was clear that they'll be conceived as such during the team's media day photo shoot.

The organization that let James Harden get away made it a mission to begin piecing a new Western Conference force together, one year after the exodus of Kevin Durant this offseason. Earlier this week, Melo was traded from the Knicks in exchange for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott, and a 2018 second-round pick. Not only does the move give OKC a prolific scorer, but it perhaps shows George that his new franchise is committed to a championship run, and keeps him there, on the heels of talk that the 4-time All-Star might select to head out to L.A. next year. George was picked up in a trade that sent Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis to Indiana back in July.

Both the Melo and the George signings also give Westbrook the security he needs on the court and in mind, as the five-year, $207 million he's been offered to extend his contract with the team awaits his signature.
