At has been reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dwyane Wade are close to finalizing their deal, which could be complete as soon as Wednesday

Wade agreed to a contract buyout with the Chicago Bulls and will clear the waivers tomorrow and become an unrestricted free agent. The buyout was $8 million of Wade's $23.8 million 2017-18 salary.

As most know, Wade and Lebron James are longtime friends and played as teammates on the Miami Heat. During their time there, they made it to the NBA Finals four times and won two championships, making it clear that they're a strong team together.

Wade, who is 35, is eligible for a one-year deal with the Cavs that can equal out to $2.3 million. Though Wade has considered joining OKC, the Spurs and the Miami Heat, it seems the Cavs are winning him over. It was even said that the Warriors expressed interest in Wade but he wasn't sure what role he would play on that team, so that idea didn't last too long.

Wade will be joining the Cavs alongside Isaiah Thomas until at least January. We'll keep you up to date as this story develops.
