Previously, a man punched a 12-year-old kid in the face, knocking his teeth out in the process. The incident took place in Charlotte County, Florida. Despite the incident taking place with the child’s mother witnessing the whole ordeal, no arrest has been made.

The child, Malikai Villatte, told Fox 4, “He was screaming at us, cursing at us, calling us the 'n-word' and he came down to the middle of his yard, and I was like 'who are you talking to?,' and he said 'come within arm's reach and I'll show you who I'm talking to.’” Vincent Cerfalo, the man who punched the child, also spat on Villatte after punching his front teeth out according to witnesses.

Now, Cerfalo is claiming self-defense in the whole incident. The 27-year-old man explained his side of the incident to Fox 4, saying, "I told them to back off and if they come on my property I’m going to defend myself. They said, ‘you won’t hit us, you won’t hit us,’ and they started to surround me.”

Cerfalo went on to say, “It was not my intention to hit anybody that hard, it was not my intention to knock teeth out or do harm, or cause any kind of trouble.”

Despite him saying he was surrounded, the children noted they never touched the man. Cerfalo went on to say that he has plans on pressing charges against the 12-year-old boy, even though he knocked the young boy’s teeth out.
