Cardi B has become known no stranger to saying what's on her mind, so it should be no surprise she'd give her insight on the NFL protest over the weekend. The Bronx native believes NFL owners aren't genuine with their feelings regarding players protesting because Colin Kaepernick remains without a job.

Speaking with Billboard, Cardi first questioned why Trump, who referred to NFL players who kneel during the anthem as “son of bi**hes,” would be so fixated on the league while having pressing issues like tensions with North Korea. “Why is our president so concerned with football players when the got da*n world is going in shambles,” Cardi said. “ You got this man from North Korea that’s talking about he declaring war.”

After explaining that she is not here for the war talk, Cardi goes on to call out NFL owners who over the weekend came out in force against the words of Trump, but none have offered a position to Kaepernick. "I feel like all these football team owners they want to release statements now, and they wanna do the most," Cardi said. “But Colin Kaepernick still doesn’t have a job.”

Cardi B, who recently become the first solo female rapper to top the Billboard Hot 100 in 19 years, went on to say that fans should not bash the players who did not participate in the protest because football is their occupation.

However, Cardi puts the NFL owners on notice that she and many others will be changing the station to a different should Kaepernick remain unsigned. “Be mad at the gotda*n team owners, you gonna hire Colin now or we gonna be watching football Sunday, we will be watching baseball, whichever day it comes on."
