LeBron James had no advice for former teammate Kyrie Irving who was recently traded to the Boston Celtics.

Now that the two are split, James told reporters on the Cavs annual media day that he’s not in the business of helping players on opposing teams. “I don’t have any advice for him now,” he said. “I got no advice for him or any other people that’s on any other team. Listen man, we trying to win a championship here. I don’t have time to give advice to other guys. You’re either with us or you're against us." James said he’s grateful for his time together with Irving, but drew the line now that they are no longer teammates. He used his son to further his point. “If my son went to another team, and we was playing against each other, I’m not giving him sh*t. He could come home and eat dinner or something, but he’d get no advice from me,” James’ joked. Irving and James won a championship together in 2016 and lost in the finals last year to the Golden State Warriors. James touched on the trade more during the discussion and told reporters that he wishes he could have done more to make him stay with the team.
