TMZ released footage of Drake burying his longtime friend Anthony “Fif” Soares on Monday.
The clip shows Drake dressed in all black helping to carry his casket to the grave site. He and a group of men place the casket above the grave and wait to pay their respects to their fallen friend who was viciously gunned down in Toronto earlier this month.
A video showing Soare's gruesome murder was released by police last week. He can be seen in the security footage standing in the lobby of his apartment building while two hooded gunmen run up to him and start shooting. The video blurs out Soares after the shots are fired. They seemed to have let off around 10 shots. Drake mourned the loss of his friend in a heartfelt Instagram post shortly after his murder “RIP to one of our family members…our brother…I still can’t even believe this morning was real. It was a honor to have shared years together and I will always keep your memory alive,” he wrote. No suspects have been arrested in the murder of Soares. Police believe the shooting was focused and encouraged Drake to use his influence to help their investigation.
