Kevin Hart addressed his cheating scandal that dominated headlines last week during a recent stand-up.

The comedian joked about the affair in audio released by TMZ. He also made a promise to his fans regarding his future. “Things happen for a reason. And in this particular case guys, I promise you I’m gonna come out a better man and a better father,” said Hart. He told the crowd that he was going through a lot of drama and said the best thing in a time like this is a support group.

News of Hart’s affair shocked the world last week when footage was released of him sleeping with a woman that later claimed to be a traveling stripper. Montia Sabbag, 27, is the stripper who appeared in the video and later stated that she had nothing to do with recording it. Someone close to the situation attempted to blackmail Kevin Hart for $10 million and he refused. He later released a video apologizing to his wife and all of his fans. Shortly after, the footage of Hart and Sabbag was leaked. Sabbag claims she wasn’t a part of the blackmail and has lawyered up in case there are any legal issues with Hart’s team or the alleged extorter who has yet to reveal them self.
