Pop star Jason Derulo may have caught a bad break, as he is the latest victim of a break-in that has been draining celebrities. Artists like Drake, Nicki Minaj, Demi Lovato, and more have been victims this year to a string of robberies that took place in Los Angeles. According to reports, Derulo was robbed of $300,000 worth of cash and jewelry from his Los Angeles home last Friday afternoon. Derulo was not present when the robbery took place.
Police have not revealed much information about the robbery, but do think that the robbery may have been an inside job. They came to that conclusion because only one room was hit. Cops said that multiple people made their way into the singer’s home, and may have broken a window and door while trying to make their way in. They did note that a member of Derulo’s team went to his house on Friday and noticed that something was off in the space. From there, they realized the home had been burglarized and called the police to file a report. TMZ noted that there may be a surveillance video of the robbery.
