It seems Lupe fiasco is someone you should call if you ever find your way into a dire situation after showcasing his skills with a samurai sword.

"You betta run Forrest, run Forrest run" captioned the video Lupe posted to Instagram on Friday, September 23. The Chicago rapper laced in his traditional black Japanese keikogi showed off skills while practicing the Japanese martial art Laido. This fighting technique has a strong emphasis on drawing your weapon quickly as respond to sudden conflict.

Lupe is no stranger to sharing his superior martial arts expertise. Back in May, Lupe, who holds a black belt in Karate as well as multiple disciplines of samurai sword techniques, sent social media into a frenzy after showing his skills with a katana.

Since dropping his DROGAS Light LP in February, Lupe has maintained a seemingly quiet on the music front. Back in late 2016, Lupe revealed plans to retire from hip-hop amid issues with his label. However, in his spare time alongside improving his Katana skills, Lupe created a rhyming review in response to Jay-Z’s “4:44”. While Lupe can definitely drop lyrics, the way his fighting skills are set up, he seems properly able to drop for a few adversaries.
