Karrueche Tran just can't seem to get around questions on her fall out with Chris Brown being the focal point of the interviews she's been doing. The Claws star made a couple of stops during her swing through New York City this week, with appearances on Hot 97 and The Wendy Williams show, and the topic came up for conversation on both shows. As a matter of fact, it was brought up in the beginning and at the end of her chat on Ebro In The Morning. With a budding acting career potentially bound to take off, the former stylist would love nothing more than to detach herself from her past so as to be mentioned in her own vein, but that is yet to be the case. So, for many who haven't kept up with her progress, Brown's name is still the resounding association with the entertainment industry that catches their attention when talking Karrueche.

On Friday, September 22, Karrueche was confronted with this reality on social media and she wasn't about to let it fly without sticking up for herself as a professional. "I'm on a hit show on TNT. I have three movies coming out. All that I've auditioned and worked hard for. At the end of the day, if I want to answer a question about something that happened IN MY LIFE, then that's what the f**k I'm gone do," she wrote in response to an Instagram user who said he doesn't find anything concerning her career to be relevant "unless it has something to do with Chris Brown."

Karrueche would go on to insist that the IG poster quit acting like CB was the only topic covered while she was on the air. Indeed the 29-year-old L.A. native did respond to an assortment of questions, ranging from her development as a thespian, rumors of a fling with Quavo, her friendship with Christina Milian, body positivity, infidelity, farting in relationships, and clapping back at haters on social media. Of course, she also broke her silence on the restraining order she filed against Chris, telling Wendy, "It came to a point where I felt like I needed to protect my safety," and saying on Hot 97 that she's from L.A. and since she must share the city with her ex, she feels she needs the protection to be able to "move around how I want to move."
