Max Kellerman believes Charles Barkey displayed a precise description of "player hating" after calling this generation of NBA players "poor babies" for receiving more days off between games. On ESPN's First Take, Kellerman laid into Barkley, even using some timely lyrics from the Notorious B.I.G to support his point

"Chuck. This is the definition of a player hating. You, sir, are the definition at this moment of a player hater. Lay on the ground, you been robbed," Kellerman said to the extremely delighted Stephen A Smith who quickly picked up the Biggie "Playa Hater" reference.

After serenading viewers with lyrics from Biggie, Kellerman went on to explain that the shift in schedule will increase the competitiveness of teams in the league. "Everyone who bets sports games knows... one of the most sure-fire bets, maybe the most sure-fire bet in sports just general bet. what is it?" Kellerman said. "Take the home team if the road team is playing is the second of back to back."

Kellerman stated that he believes that the change in schedule will result in a better product for consumers of the league. "So what Chuck is really saying here because a schedule change makes some 'millionaire players lives' better because of that we shouldn't also give the fans a better product. The definition of player hating."
