Gucci Mane is having an amazing 2017 and according to him, 2018 will be even more monumental.

Guwop took to Twitter to announce that he will be switching it up next year. "2018 I'm going 100 percent independent and dropping a mixtape every other day‪ #MrDavisTheAlbum,‬” he tweeted on Friday afternoon. Gucci, who was released from prison in May of 2016, has been working hard and seems to have no plans of slowing down.

Guwop also successfully released his autobiography earlier this week. “The Autobiography of Gucci Mane” highlights his growth in hip-hop, while also going into detail about his legal woes. In 2016, Gucci heated up hip-hop with the two studio albums, Everybody Looking and The Return of East Atlanta Santa.

While at a book release event this week, a PETA group confronted Gucci for wearing fur in the past. Despite the protesters holding up signs and shouting, Gucci maintained his composure.

Currently, the Atlanta rapper has released 10 studio albums. His eleventh, Mr. Davis, is said to drop on the 13th of October and features artists such as ASAP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Migos, Monica, Ty Dolla Sign, and more.
