Kim Jong Un is not happy after Donald Trump said the U.S. would "totally destroy" North Korea if any of its territories were attacked.

Kim responded on Thursday (September 20), and his state news agency KCNA quoted him as saying, "I will make the man holding the prerogative of the supreme command in the US pay dearly for his speech calling for totally destroying the DPRK."

After being belittled by Trump as "Rocket Man," Kim Jong Un spoke about the "mentally deranged behavior of the US president openly expressing on the UN arena the unethical will to ’totally destroy’ a sovereign state."

At one point in his rebuttal, Kim confused people by calling Trump a "dotard," a word that doesn't seem to exist. He stated, "I am now thinking hard about what response he could have expected when he allowed such eccentric words to trip off his tongue. I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged U.S. dotard with fire."

Kim concluded by saying that Trump's comments "have convinced me, rather than frightening or stopping me, that the path I chose is correct and that it is the one I have to follow to the last."
