Former NFL player Albert Haynesworth took to Twitter to air out some personal information regarding his relationship with the mother of his son. According to reports from TMZ, Haynesworth's series of tweets were supposedly in response to something his ex, Brittany Jackson said over social media regarding his child support status. Although the claims about Jackson going to social media have not been substantiated, Albert Haynesworth still used Twitter to tell his side of the story.

Throughout the tweets, Haynesworth points out the verbal lashings he would receive from Jackson and particularly the use of racial slurs. Jackson, a white woman, is said to have demeaned Haynesworth as well as becoming physically violent on 10 separate occasions. Since posting these tweets, Haynesworth story regarding one physical altercation was corroborated by the Knoxville News-Sentinel who got hold of a copy of the police report Haynesworth references.

Jackson is a former woman's basketball player at the University of Tennessee where she played under the late, legendary Pat Summitt. Jackson is a strong advocate for Alzheimer's research. Her criminal past includes a charge for aggravated assault back in 2010 for punching a woman. Jackson pleaded guilty. Haynesworth himself has a history with the law after a 2011 incident of sexual assault was levied against him to which was later reduced to simple assault after groping a cocktail waitress. He pleaded no contest. Despite their respective pasts, Haynesworth's tweets raise some interesting questions regarding domestic abuse.
