Ric Flair has proven to be a tough person. Aside from the wear-and-tear on his body from pro-wrestling the Nature Boy has survived a plane crash, getting over a broken back, and even being struck by lightning. But it was his near-death experience last month that shook Flair to the core. The WWE Hall of Famer was hospitalized last month for what was reported as a heart-related issue eventually being placed in a medically induced coma. Later reports revealed that Flair was suffering from congestive heart failure in addition to kidney failure. During an interview with People, Flair opened up by saying, “It scared the shit out of me [...] I’m not out of the woods yet." The Nature Boy continued to be transparent, revealing his battle with alcoholism and how it was a while before he realized, or accepted his addiction. “I didn’t think I was an alcoholic, but obviously I was [...] I’ll never drink again. I never want to go through this again.

With a long road to recovery ahead, Ric Flair has vowed to stay off the alcohol.
