Chicago police have released surveillance footage of Kenneka Jenkins walking around the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rosemont moments before her death. Jenkins' body was discovered in the hotel freezer two days after she arrived at the hotel for a party on the ninth floor.
Jenkins appears to be stumbling around the hotel kitchen, hallways, and out of an elevator in the video, but she is not seen walking into the freezer where she was found.
A statement released by the attorney representing Jenkins' family read, “Despite request for all evidence, we have only been provided snippets of video, none of which shows Kenneka Jenkins walking into a freezer. Serious questions remain as to how she ended up in a Crowne Plaza Hotel freezer and why it took a day and a half for the hotel to find Kenneka."
