Rapper XXXTENTACION has been in the news as of late for disturbing detailed reports of his alleged physical altercation with an ex-girlfriend he lived with. Now, the rapper has released the video “Look At Me,” which got much attention for imagery that displayed a young white boy being lynched. Many tried to say that the video and its meaning was in support of Black Lives Matter, but the rapper has come out since then to say otherwise.

XXXTENTACION went on a live stream and broke down what the true meaning of the video was. He noted that he originally wanted to have the black child in the video being hung, but the point he wanted to make wouldn’t have been presented in the way he wanted. From there, he said “Point being is I basically played the devil's advocate in the video by being the one to hang the child because no matter how you look at it you can't justify the fact that I murdered a child. That's the whole fucking point. I'm trying to show that murder is murder."

From there, the rapper went on to say “Again, if you don't see the message, watch the video again. If you think this is in support of Black Lives Matter, it's actually not. It's All Lives Matter." His live stream came after he released a clip of him listening to voicemails from a KKK member issuing death threats to the rapper.
