Cyhi the Prynce opened up to VladTV about having 25 label deals being offered to him at one time. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper explained that he met up with one of Too $hort's former managers, who shopped him around to different people, including Eric Sermon, Lil Jon, and Redman -who nearly all offered a deal on the spot.
After learning he was in-demand, Cyhi said his street crew began negotiating deals, and after a while, Cyhi felt like they weren't allowing him to flourish in his career. It was at this point that he took a $70,000 advance from Akon and paid his crew to part ways.
