LaVar Ball was a recent guest on ESPN's First Take, and not surprisingly things got pretty heated when the outrageous price of his Big Baller Brand shoes came up for discussion.

Speaking on the ZO1 sneakers, which retail for $495, Stephen A. Smith lit into the elder Ball.

"Man, you got kids out there who were looking at the Big Baller Brand, and guess what, you sat up there saying, 'if you can't get it you ain't a baller', that was very rude and disrespectful, LaVar!"

Not to be misrepresented, LaVar fired back that his comment had nothing to do with one's ability to pay.

"So you thinking Big Baller is the guy with the money. I'm saying Big Baller is a guy who got dedication, discipline, and he finds a way to go get it."

The conversation then turned to LeBron James and the rumor he may be checking out the Lakers as a possibility for his next team.

When asked if LeBron coming to Los Angeles would steal shine from the Big Baller Brand, LaVar was quick to respond.

"Are you crazy?! LeBron James can't take away from the Big Baller Brand, let's be real..."
