The man who they call "The Pac of the South" just revealed why he announced earlier this year that his next double-disc album would be called "BooPac"

It's hard to overlook the Baton Rouge Native, Boosie Badazz' influence and the impact he's had over the South being bigger than just a rapper.

In a recent interview with Sway in the Morning, the rapper revealed his most influential 2Pac song "Brenda's Got A Baby."

“2Pac the only artist that ever made me shed a tear, and when I go to concerts every weekend, people crying for me. 2Pac made me want to rap, he made me want to speak my ghetto story and not be ashamed of it. A lot of people in my era didn’t grow up on 2Pac, they grew up on me. So when I go out, they say I am their 2Pac.”

When Boosie asked about the Tupac comparisons in the past, Bossie stated: “I think people do that because we both have heart-felt music that touch people heart, we both have similarities. I guess we both got in trouble too but I just feel it’s real music and a pleasure to be given that credit but Tupac is Tupac and Boosie is Boosie.”

The rapper seems to have had a change of heart seeing as though Pac is arguably the greatest rapper of all time.
