Hillary Clinton has been making headlines as of late with the upcoming release of her book What Happened. The book found the former presidential candidate speaking very candidly about people like Bernie Sanders and current president Donald Trump.

Her book spent many pages going over what she feels happened in terms of her losing the election, with one section of her book going directly at Trump. One section of her book compared Trump’s current stint in office to a mix between another version of the Soviet Union crossed with George Orwell’s book 1984. Clinton said, “Attempting to define reality is a core feature of authoritarianism. This is what the Soviets did when they erased political dissidents from historical photos. This is what happens in George Orwell’s classic novel Nineteen Eighty-Four...For Trump, as with so much he does, it’s about simple dominance.” Clinton even goes at the people who follow Trump in his ignorance, like Kellyanne Conway, saying, “If he stood up tomorrow and declared that the Earth is flat, his counselor Kellyanne Conway might just go on Fox News and defend it as an ‘alternative fact,’ and too many people would believe it.”

Since then, Trump has indirectly address Clinton via his favorite platform: Twitter. Trump said, “ Fascinating to watch people writing books and major articles about me and yet they know nothing about me & have zero access. #FAKE NEWS!”
