Previously, rapper Moneybagg Yo was on a tour stop in New Jersey this past August when a shootout involving him and his crew went down while they were at a rest stop. Yo was on his way to a performance in Newark, New Jersey when his sprinter van decided to stop. When the van stopped, shots were let off according to reports, leaving two people injured as a result. According to NBC New York, witnesses noted that one of the people shot in the attack suffered a head wound. Both victims were taken to the hospital and were labeled as being in serious but stable condition. The rapper and members of his entourage were reportedly taken by police to a waiting squad car, even though they were not under arrest. No suspects ended up being caught in the ongoing investigation.
Since then, the CMG signee has moved on from the shooting. A video surfaced of Moneybagg Yo purchasing a new chain of Mario throwing money. The detailed chain shows Mario running off with a sack of money over his back, and money flying in the air. On the back of the chain, it says “Look at Mario, He a Rich N***a.” Take a look above.
