Rumors began to surface online this morning (Sept. 5th) that Meek Mill's cousin and Dreamchasers' rapper Omelly was shot in North Camden, New Jersey sometime on Monday. While there are no exact details on the incident, TheShadeRoom has reported that Omelly was taken to Cooper University Hospital.
There is a photo floating around that is allegedly from Meek Mill's Snapchat of the pair captioned "Omelly you gon pull thru this. Ya'll say a prayer!"
Well wishes and a speedy recovery go out to Omelly and the entire Dreamchasers team.
At around 9 a.m. this morning Omelly took to his social media account to let the world know he was doing fine. Under a photo of himself laughing, the rapper wrote, "Took it & smiled special thanks to everyone for the support 💯💯💯💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 #DC4LIFE #winsandlosses#RIPLILSNUPE" presumably about getting shot the night prior.
