Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian welcomed their first child into the world on Friday, September 1.
Nine months after they exchanged vows, the power couple was in St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where a 6 lbs., 13 oz. baby girl was delivered into their arms. Details on the huge occasion, including the name of their daughter, have yet to be made public, but it is confirmed that both mother and child are healthy and resting.
Congratulations have come in from the likes of Serena's sister Venus, who is currently battling through the US Open, Wendy Williams, who referenced Ohanian's association as Reddit's co-founder by joking: "You Reddit here first!" and long-time friend Beyonce, who posted a photo of Serena on social media, with the words "Congratulations Serena!"
