With tragedy continuing to strike Houston, many celebrities and athletes are donating their help and money to help rebuild the devastation that Hurricane Harvey has left behind. Beyonce has now joined in and is offering her help. She has pledged to help as many victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Beyonce made the following statement to the Houston Chronicle:
"My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help. I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor [Rudy Rasmus at St. John's in downtown Houston] to implement a plan to help as many as we can."
Beyonce's BeyGOOD organization has previously provided water during times of need to Flint, Michigan, and Burundi in Eastern Africa.
Beyonce also showed love to Houston on Monday with a tribute on Instagram (see above).
