Unfortunately, things in Houston have gotten terribly devasting due to Hurricane Harvey and the major flooding that it caused. Now done to a tropical storm, it seems that Hurricane Harvey isn't yet done and is set to deliver 20 more inches of rain. At this time, people are trying to do as much as possible by sending help, donating money and providing as many positive thoughts as possible. Including the Houston Rockets owner, Leslie Alexander.

Alexander donated $4 million dollars today to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund that Mayor Sylvester Turner started. The Rockets made the following statement:

"Our hearts are heavy seeing the devastation that so many of our friends, family and neighbors are experiencing."

Houston Rockets point guard, Chris Paul, donated $50K to Texans' defensive end, J.J. Watt's fundraiser (see above). Watt's initial goal was to raise $500K and he then bumped up the goal to $1 million after hitting the $500K mark within 24 hours.

Plenty others have also donated including:

The Texans' owner, Bob McNair & the team donated $1 million to the United Way of Greater Houston Flood Relief Fund.

MLB donated $1 million to the Red Cross.

And there is probably more to come as Houston tries to restore their city.
