The NBA offseason keeps getting crazier by the day, with trades happening left and right. Recently, it was announced that Kyrie Irving would be heading to the Boston Celtics in a trade for Isaiah Thomas and others. Many teams showed interest in Kyrie Irving after he announced that he wanted to be traded from the Cavaliers. According to reports, one of those teams was the Golden State Warriors.

ESPN’s The Undefeated revealed that the Cavaliers reached out to the Warriors about possibly trading Irving for Klay Thompson before they made the decision to send their point guard to the Celtics. It was noted by Marc Spears of The Undefeated that the Warriors passed on the offer, which led the Cavs to send Irving to Boston.
