One man took the news of his car getting repossessed very badly, and the entire ordeal was caught on camera. According to cell phone footage from bystanders, a man whose car was getting repossessed climbed on to the tow truck that had his car lifted, and tried to unhook his car while the truck was still in motion.
During his attempt to unhook his car, the man also smashes in the tow truck’s window to scare the driver. According to the woman who captured the altercation on camera, the incident took place in Compton, California. Investigators from the L.A. Sheriff’s Department noted that the repo man popped up to get the car that was left parked in the street. The car was set to be taken due to non-payment. After the car was dragged for over three minutes and black smoke began to appear, the tow truck was finally pulled over by police. Both of the men involved were questioned but eventually released. The owner of the car may face vandalism charges according to sheriffs on the scene. Watch above.
