Despite press days and numerous interviews with memorable quotes from each fighter, the Mayweather and McGregor fight has not sold out yet. According to BBC, there are still 7,000 tickets unsold, despite the hype for the fight being very high. Mike Costello, BBC’s boxing correspondent said that “tickets are not flying off the shelves.” That may be due to the fact that the lowest priced ticket at the moment is $500 while the highest priced ticket is $107,000.

Previously during the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, all the tickets for the event were sold out, and most of the tickets on the resale market were going for three times their original price according to CNBC. The Mayweather-McGregor fight has found resale tickets for the fight available with a 30 percent drop in price.
