Packers defensive end Damarious Randall isn't trying to hear any excuse Bryce Treggs of the Eagles may have for why he struggles to accept that he's been fined $25,000 for putting a high hit on him during Green Bay's Week 1 matchup against Philadelphia. Treggs, who was invited onto the team from the practice squad as an undrafted free agent, recently griped about getting paid the league minimum of $450,000, making the penalty significant. The second-year man out of Cal told followers on Twitter that he'd be starting a GoFundMe to help settle the fee.

Word must've gotten to Randall about Treggs' pitch, and it prompted him to react to the tweet with a message of his own. "Yo broke ass shouldn't play dirty then," Randall tweeted at Treggs on Monday, August 21. Treggs would respond with an attempt to absolve himself of the helmet-to-helmet shot, writing, "My assignment was a force block on that play and I was trying to put a physical play on film. Nothing dirty about trying to earn a job."

Treggs and Randall's spat stems from a play in which Treggs went to block Randall in order to give running back LeGarrette Blount a lane during the first quarter action. As a result, Randall suffered a concussion. Treggs has said that by design it was his job to pick Randall up on the play, and maintains that the excessive contact was accidental.
