Residents in Charlottesville, VA continue to speak out against the "Unite the Right" white supremacist rally and the civil unrest that ensued. During a city council meeting, residents took the opportunity to occupy the meeting, chanting "Whose streets, Our streets!" The protesters caused the meeting to halt, disallowing Mayor Mike Signer to speak without interruption. The crowd chastised the mayor and other city officials as to why a white supremacist event was granted permission to take place in Charlottesville. At one point, the crowd shouted that "Signer must go!"
