A Bronx barber was shot during a stick-up that unfolded as he was busy cutting a customer's hair on Sunday, August 20.

Surveillance footage taken from D'Augustin Barker Shop on E. 170th St. and Grand Concourse shows the moment a gunman, who had been pretending to be a customer, takes to his feet with his weapon drawn. Standing by the door was a robber who walked in with the first assailant. The two men entered the shop with plans to strip the barber of his jewelry, and were ultimately successful, but not without the victim putting up a fight.

A split-second after the first robber approached with his firearm aimed at the barber's head, the second gunman was forced to spring into action, seeing the barber put up a spirited struggle. Unfortunately, by the time the 40-year-old barber realized he was outnumbered he was being fired on by the second assailant. He'd survive a shot to the arm and a shot to the stomach.

The shooters got away with the barber's chain, bracelet, and cash.
