Previously, it was reported that a man known as “Cuban Harry” (real name Harrison Garcia) was arrested for drug trafficking and numerous pharmacy burglaries in South Florida to supply his booming “lean” business. While at his pretrial hearing in January 2017, Garcia told the judge “I had an image to portray, to boost up my followers,” in reference to the extravagant posts he could put on Instagram to promote his “business.” Garcia ended up being busted as he made allegedly made two drug transactions with confidential informants. Along with that, his over-the-top Instagram posts were used as evidence, especially one particular post that found him showing off a variety of firearms.

Now according to the Miami Herald, Garcia is set to do 30 years in prison for his crimes. U.S. Judge Patricia Seitz said the man’s crimes are “the kind of conduct that is very much a scourge on our community,” and that the selling of lean is a part of a drug epidemic in the United States that “dehumanizes and enslaves” addicts in search of the drug. Although Garcia has received a sentence for drug trafficking, he still faces state charges of racketeering, in relation to the pharmacy burglaries. Garcia allegedly paid a crew of young men to break into CVS and Walgreens stores in Broward County to acquire promethazine.
