Many have spoken out since the tragic events took place in Charlottesville. Athletes like Lebron James and Kevin Durant have said their peace. Common, Pharrell, Killer Mike, T.I. and Snoop Dogg are also some among many that have also spoken up. Now to add to that list is Future.

The ATL rapper postponed his shows in VA this weekend out of respect to what took place in Charlottesville. Future's first show was due to take place tonight in Charlottesville at John Paul Jones Arena on the University of Virginia campus. The second show was due to take place at Veterans United Home Loan in Virginia Beach.

On Twitter Future wrote:

"Out of respect for the tragic events I felt it wasn't rite to perform at this time..please understand my heart mean well VA #FutureHendrix."

A second tweet followed:

"VA is important to me & always will be. I'm comin very soon,my word! Love Forever."

No word on when the shows will be rescheduled to but we'll keep you all posted as that information becomes available.
