Chance The Rapper has grown into much more than a superstar hip-hop artist. The Chicago native has become a champion for social justice where he uses his platform to provide financial support as well as shining light on larger social issues through his music and interviews. Fast-forward to today, and Chance's star on and off stage has led to being selected for Fortune Magazine's "40 Under 40" most influential list.
Chance comes from a family that is deeply involved in politics, with his father being part of former President Obama's first term administration and working for him while still a senator. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Chance is finding ways to use his celebrity for social justice.
