It's soon going to be a decade since we've last seen The Fugees really vibing together. The group disbanded in 1997 but reunited again for a performance in Bedstuy on Sept. 18, 2004 for Dave Chappelle's Block Party. But the reunion was short lived and the trio hasn't performed together since their free show in Hollywood in 2006.

Many have wished that the group would get back together and hopes were high when an old song leaked on July 15th BUT all members denied the reunion on Twitter. And it hasn't been spoken about since...well, until now. Wyclef sat down with Uproxx, this week and had a few words to say about who could actually bring them together:

“What could put the Fugees back together? Okay. Wyclef’s gonna tell you: Dave motherf*cking Chappelle,” Wyclef stated. “Dave really loves, and admires, and understands that intellectual property of rap. For us, it was re-invention, it was incredible. He’s the one that put us back together last time, so we all need to f**king start pressuring Dave Chappelle starting today,” Wyclef added.

Wyclef also spoke about the rumor that the group was offered $90 million to reunite: “At the end of the day, it can’t be about the money. It has to be about the art,” he explained. “I’m telling you, man, I’ve got so many billionaire friends, they are lonely, dude. It’s got to be bigger than the check, because the check, you can always get.”
