A group of black-clad thieves on mopeds staged a daytime robbery of a jewelry store in Knightsbridge, London on Wednesday, August 16, and recordings from inside and outside of the establishment captured the entire ordeal.

Six men are counted among the suspects being sought for their involvement in the break in and robbery of Boodles Jewelers on Basil Street. The men showed up and broke into the store using sledgehammers that also came in handy for their destruction of the display cases bearing the valuables they were after. Investigators are continuing to explore different means of gathering evidence that might give them leads in the case. Because the men were wearing full-faced helmets, identifying them would be virtually impossible without the help of the public.

Scooter thefts are said to be up by 30 percent in the city over the past year. From June 2016 to 2017 the London Metropolitan Police documented 16,158 moped related crimes.
