Questions about Tyler, The Creator's sexuality have been in an uptick since the release of his latest album, Scum F*** Flower Boy. On two songs in particular, Tyler raps about "kissing white boys since 2004" and saying, "Truth is, since you kid, thought it was a phase/Thought it would be like the phrase 'poof'; gone/But it's still going on."
Recently while on making an appearance on Know Wave'z Koopz Tunes radio show, the host introduced Tyler by saying, "He's so open-minded now. I love it." In true Tyler manner, he responds, "Open-minded now? I had a boyfriend when I was 15 in f**king Hawthorne [California], n***a. If that's not open-minded, I don't know what the f*** that is."
When that quote hit social media it added fuel to the already burning speculation of Tyler's sexuality. He went on Twitter, last night (Aug 16) to address the attention, "figure of speech to get koopz 'open minded' point across, i was single at 15 haha," he tweeted.
Either way, it seems the world never knows when to take Tyler seriously.
