Video a North Carolina woman recorded of herself confronting a neighbor who was flying a swastika outside of his home, began going viral within 24-hours of the race riot in Charlottesville, and has been shared by over 12,000 users on Facebook since.

In the recording, 44-year-old Page Braswell pulls up to a man who identified himself as Joe Love while he stood outside of his house on Forestway Drive, in Mount Holly. “Hey! What’s up with the Nazi flag?” she asked, leading to a confrontation when he responded, “What’s that flag got to do with you?” Love would flip the script on Braswell and begin questioning what flag it is that she has hanging outside of her home, to which she responded, "I fly a rainbow flag, thank you." After going back and forth in an intense, but non-violent manner, Love, who knew he was being filmed, began denying that he was a Nazi.

Along with the video, Braswell would post Love's address on her Facebook page, which must have resulted in some serious mail, as he has since changed his tone from the one which he carried on with in the company of Braswell. A reporter for the local Gaston Gazette managed to get in touch with Love, who answered questions as to whether he affiliates himself with the history of the symbol by stating, “That used to be a religious symbol in India until Hitler got a hold of it. A lot of people don’t know that. I agree with the symbol as it started out as a religious symbol.”

It is reported that he has since replaced the swastika with a Confederate battle flag.
