The offseason for the Cleveland Cavaliers could not have gotten any worse, as reports are surfacing saying that LeBron James is allegedly leaving the organization after the 2017-2018 season. Veteran NBA reporter Chris Sheridan revealed the news via Twitter, writing, “NBA source said today: ‘This will be LeBron’s final season in Cleveland. He is 100 percent leaving. Relationship with owners beyond repair.'” For those unaware, Sheridan is the same reporter who broke the news of LeBron James making his way back to Cleveland for the second time.

Since word spread of James’ alleged departure, Cavs have made it clear that they fixed on getting younger stars who can fill the gap that Kyrie Irving is going to leave if he is traded. News of James allegedly leaving comes after news surfaced of Kyrie Irving asking for a trade from the organization.
