Last month, President Trump introduced an initiative that would ban all transgender personnel from serving in the armed forces. The controversial initiative was met immediately with litigation from active duty transgender individuals, who say Trump's ban is unconstitutional. Today, Trump fired back to the criticism, saying:

"It’s a very difficult situation and I think I’m doing a lot of people a favor by coming out and just saying it. As you know, it's been a very complicated issue for the military, it has been a very confusing issue for the military, and I think I'm doing the military a great favor."

Trump goes on to discuss his 'respect' for the transgender community and thanks them for their support as he strips them of the ability to serve their country. Thoughts? Let us know in the comments.
