DMX may be in some trouble, as the rapper allegedly violated a bail bond arrangement. According to TMZ, DMX is out of jail on bail in his ongoing tax evasion case. DMX is currently facing 14 counts of evading over $1 million in taxes.
A stipulation of DMX’s bond was that he has to give the judge a proper notice if he decides to head out of town. However, the rapper failed to mention that he was heading to St. Louis, Missouri to see his family, which violates the conditions he was given. Now, that may cost him his freedom. Murray Richman, DMX’s attorney said that he thinks the rapper clearly forgot he was supposed to notify the judge if he had to leave. According to the lawyer, DMX usually gives a heads up to his probation officer if he has to dip out of New York for any type of performance, so it’s unclear what is really happening. Because of this recent development, the rapper may be required to wear an ankle bracelet. DMX is set to appear in court at the end of this week.
