The hype for the Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor seemed to be at an all-time high, with ticket prices projected to be high. However, AP has reported that thousands of seats are still available for purchase to the talked-about fight. The fight still has about 162 spots available, and according to Ticketmaster, the cheapest ticket price available is currently at $3,500. Along with that hefty price tag, there is a $300 buyer fee, which could go up to $10,000 depending on how close to the ring you want to be. The “platinum” seats for the fight are reportedly going for close to $15,000.

The resale market is at the same price, if not a bit higher. StubHub spokesperson Joanna Huff told the press “We’re not necessarily seeing demand levels for the fight yet. The encouraging part is people are buying some tickets.” The Mayweather vs. McGregor bout is set to take place on August 26, 2017.
