Tyler, The Creator sat down with Zane Lowe to discuss his latest project Flower Boy and spoke about the natural musical chemistry he has with friend and frequent collaborator Frank Ocean. "We've never ever in our life planned a collaboration," Tyler stated to Lowe. Much of their collabos are just conversations turned into meet-ups. "I’m always in the studio just making shit and he’s like ‘Where you at?’” On their latest song "911 / Mr. Lonely," Tyler said, "[Frank] was like, 'Let me try something.' He just started saying ‘chirp chirp chirp chirp’ about 400 f**king times."
Tyler also revealed that while Channel Orange seems to be a fan and mainstream favorite from Frank, his favorite project is Blonde and he tells him every chance he gets. "I always tell him I like it way better than Channel Orange—and don’t like comparing."
