Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green popped up in the media recently as he was hit with a lawsuit for an alleged physical assault against a man named Jermaine Edmondson and a woman named Bianca Williams. Since then, Edmondson has taken to the press to read a statement on the lawsuit and speak on Green. Edmondson said, “I still feel that man’s hand around my neck and it will forever be traumatizing.” The altercation allegedly took place at a bar in Michigan and found two men in Green’s entourage pushing Edmondson against a wall and choking him after Green had previously bumped into Edmondson.
Both Edmondson and Williams are being represented by Lisa Bloom, the same lawyer who assisted Blac Chyna in getting a restraining order against Rob Kardashian. Bloom noted that “the filing of this lawsuit was a last resort.” She went on to say “Mr. Green has refused to accept responsibility for his conduct and so we will ask a jury to educate him and hold him accountable.”
